Children’s Christmas Party!

The annual children’s Christmas party was a great success on Saturday 13th December.  The party was for all children in Alresford under the age of 5.  This was the fourth year that Perins School has hosted the party which was another sell out!

This year the target was to raise funds to refurbish the baby garden for the children at Patchwork Nursery to use and enjoy and amazingly they managed to raise, just over £400.

The children were thoroughly entertained by the amazing Jo Jingles with singing, dancing, bubbles and music! The fantastic Kirsty Turner was showing off her crafty skills with wonderful face painting including ‘Frozen’ inspired snowflakes.  The children joined in with a number of party games with prizes for the winners.

They then enjoyed a sausage and chips tea, provided by Dave’s Fish and Chip Shop in Alresford, followed by a delicious Jude’s ice cream.  The parents were not left out as they enjoyed the delightful café which included a number of homemade treats, donated by the parents of Patchwork.

A huge thank you to Patchwork Day Nursery & Pre- School for hosting the party and the POP Group for organising the event.  We look forward to seeing you again next year.
