The report states that the children in both settings ‘interact and play well together’ and ‘enjoy the free flow between the rooms and garden enabling them to take responsibility for where they play.’

Patchwork is proud of the relationship that they have built with parents and it was highlighted that the ‘Partnership with parents is a real strength of the setting underpinning the continuity of care and learning for each child.’ Nursery and Pre-school Manager, Nicola Baxter, commented, “We are delighted with the outcome of the inspection and we would like to thank all our parents for their commitment to help us get to where we are today.”
Staff at Patchwork remain focused to becoming an outstanding setting and as confirmed in the report, ‘The senior managers have a clear vision for the setting. They continually develop systems and procedures, to fully involve the staff team and parents.’ Ms Baxter, continued, “All at Patchwork work incredibly hard to ensure exceptional care for all children. The team will continue to work hard to ensure that Patchwork’s successes will carry on into the future.”
